Setup and verification

Configuration: .mcp.json / mcpServers / JSON

Documentation reviewed: 2026-11-02. This is not a runtime test or security audit.

  1. Use the project-root .mcp.json for the generated mcpServers configuration.
  2. Merge the entries, then approve the project MCP configuration in Claude Code when prompted.
  3. Run claude mcp list or use /mcp to inspect server status and authentication.

User and local scopes use different storage (including ~/.claude.json). Do not replace that file with this project snippet. Server IDs use letters, digits, hyphens or underscores.

Review every command and requested permission. Merge only the relevant server entries; do not overwrite unrelated settings. Keep credentials out of version control.
